Ancient Spirit is the instrumental music duo of  Martha Stuart and Jackie Cook. They perform their music on accordion, banjo, mandolin, violin/fiddle and guitar. Since their debut in 1990, their instrumentation has been as diverse as their repertoire. Their music styles are eclectic and International in origin which include German, Italian, Latin, and Irish, as well as traditional folksongs and other old time music. They also perform some of their own compositions. The music is excellent for many different occasions such as parties, dinners, luncheons, receptions and banquets. Programs of good musical entertainment can be presented for educational purposes, therefore enlightening people of all ages with music that is not commonly heard.
